The Google Business Profile Audit

Find why you are not showing in the map pack for near-me searches.

Map pack ranking is decided by relevance, distance, and prominence. Most businesses only ever work on the one they cannot change.

That is the gap this drop closes. It is a marketing skill built for Gemini, and it takes about ten minutes to set up the first time. After that it runs in under a minute.

Who should use it

Any business in the UAE with a physical location or service area.

How it works

The skill file does five things, in this order.

1. Check category accuracy. Primary category is the single heaviest ranking factor.

2. Verify NAP consistency. Name, address, phone identical across every listing.

3. Audit the review pattern. Velocity and owner responses matter as much as the average.

4. Fill the profile completely. Services, hours, attributes, products, Q&A, photos.

5. Match the landing page. The page you link should name the city and the service.

What comes back

A prioritised fix list across category, NAP, reviews, completeness, and landing page.

The mistake to avoid

Look at the primary category of the top three businesses ranking for your target search. Category mismatch is the most common and most fixable reason for invisibility.

Running it

Save the prompt as a Gem so it is reusable, or paste it into Gemini with your files attached. If the task touches Sheets, Docs or Gmail, run it from the Workspace side panel so it can read the file you already have open.

Where this fits

On its own, one skill saves an hour a week. The compounding happens when three or four of them run in sequence on the same input, the same transcript that produces a scope of work also produces the follow-up email and the project brief. That is the point at which it stops being a prompt and starts being an internal tool. If you want that wired into the systems your team already uses, that is the work 67 Digital does.

In the file

Audit this Google Business Profile for {target search term} in {city}.

1. CATEGORY, is the primary category correct for the target search? Compare
against what the top three ranking businesses use. Recommend primary and up
   to nine secondary categories.
2. NAP CONSISTENCY, check name, address, phone against the website, and list
the directories where a mismatch would matter in this market.
3. COMPLETENESS, score each section: services, products, hours including
public holidays, attributes, description, Q&A, photos with recency.
4. REVIEWS, average, count, velocity over 12 months, owner response rate and
response time. Compare against the top three competitors.
5. LANDING PAGE, does the linked page name the city and the service in the
title and H1? Does it carry LocalBusiness schema?
6. FIX LIST, ranked by impact divided by effort, with the first action for each.
