Extract Payment Terms from Arabic Contracts
Pull deadlines, penalties and payment clauses from contracts written in Arabic
Arabic contracts use formal legal terms that differ from everyday business Arabic. Payment terms are often buried in long paragraphs without clear formatting, making it easy to miss penalty clauses or milestone dates.
That is the gap this drop closes. It is a finance & admin skill built for Kimi, and it takes about ten minutes to set up the first time. After that it runs in under a minute.
Who should use it
Finance managers and procurement officers working with Arabic-language supplier agreements, vendor contracts and service agreements in the UAE
How it works
The skill file does five things, in this order.
1. Paste the Arabic contract text. Copy the full contract sections that mention payment, pricing or financial obligations into Kimi.
2. Ask for a structured table in Arabic. Request a table with columns for payment amount, due date, conditions and penalties, all in Arabic.
3. Flag ambiguous legal terms. Ask Kimi to highlight any unclear phrasing around late payment fees or currency conversion terms.
4. Request a bilingual summary. Get a two-column table with Arabic terms on the left and plain English equivalents on the right for review.
5. Export to a payment tracker. Copy the Arabic table into your internal finance system or spreadsheet for milestone tracking.
What comes back
A clean table of payment obligations in Arabic with dates, amounts and penalty clauses visible at a glance, plus a bilingual reference for internal reporting
The mistake to avoid
Kimi handles Arabic script better when you paste the entire clause, not isolated sentences. If the output mixes English numerals with Arabic text, ask Kimi to use Eastern Arabic numerals for consistency with your local systems.
Running it
Paste the prompt block into a new Kimi chat and attach your files in the same message. Kimi's long context means you should upload everything at once rather than in batches, splitting the input is what causes it to lose cross-references between documents.
Where this fits
On its own, one skill saves an hour a week. The compounding happens when three or four of them run in sequence on the same input, the same transcript that produces a scope of work also produces the follow-up email and the project brief. That is the point at which it stops being a prompt and starts being an internal tool. If you want that wired into the systems your team already uses, that is the work 67 Digital does.
