A Brand Voice That Survives Translation
Build an EN/AR voice guide and rewrite anything to match it.
Direct translation produces Arabic that is grammatically correct and emotionally flat. Voice has to be rebuilt in each language, not carried across.
That is the gap this drop closes. It is a content & writing skill built for Claude, and it takes about ten minutes to set up the first time. After that it runs in under a minute.
Who should use it
UAE brands whose Arabic reads like a translation of the English.
How it works
The skill file does five things, in this order.
1. Feed your best existing copy. Ten samples you are proud of, in both languages if you have them.
2. Extract the voice rules. Sentence length, formality, what you never say, signature moves.
3. Build a parallel Arabic voice. Same personality, native construction, not mirrored syntax.
4. Write the do-not list. Banned words matter more than approved ones.
5. Rewrite and diff. Paste any draft and see it corrected against the guide.
What comes back
A bilingual voice guide with rules, banned lists, and a working rewrite mode.
The mistake to avoid
Write the Arabic guide from Arabic examples, never from the English guide. If you only have English samples, commission three Arabic pieces first and build from those.
Running it
Save this as SKILL.md inside a folder named after the skill, then drop the folder into your Claude Code skills directory or upload it to a Claude Project. Claude reads the frontmatter to decide when the skill applies, so keep the description line intact. For a one-off run, paste the prompt block directly.
Where this fits
On its own, one skill saves an hour a week. The compounding happens when three or four of them run in sequence on the same input, the same transcript that produces a scope of work also produces the follow-up email and the project brief. That is the point at which it stops being a prompt and starts being an internal tool. If you want that wired into the systems your team already uses, that is the work 67 Digital does.
In the file
Build a bilingual brand voice guide from these samples.
PART 1. ENGLISH VOICE
Average sentence length, formality (1-5), person, tense habits, three signature
constructions with examples, ten banned words with replacements.
PART 2. ARABIC VOICE
Do not translate Part 1. Derive from the Arabic samples. Specify: MSA vs Gulf
register, sentence rhythm, how we address the reader, three signature
constructions, ten banned words. If Arabic samples were not supplied, say so
and describe what to commission instead of guessing.
PART 3. REWRITE MODE
Given any draft in either language, output: corrected version, a change log
citing the rule applied, and a voice-match score out of 10.
